"Pros: I stayed at The Galley in early June, per the reccomendation of a friend who had previously volunteered there, and it was absolutely fantastic. The entire crew instantly made me feel like part of the Galley family, and provided guests with chaotic good times. I am not typically the most outgoing person, but these amazing people really made my entire trip feel like home 💓. Beyond that, the hostel itself is beautiful - the rooms are spacious, clean and vibrant, everything is tidy and welcoming, and the breakfasts and "family dinners" just tie it all together. Already planning my next trip to stay again. Love you all! Cons: I wasn't able to stay longer :( I wish I could have extended!" ~Sam

"Pros: Apartment was very big and owner was very friendly. Location was in a good spot. Cons: We believe we were the first guests to stay here. It seemed even the owner had not been there in a while. The apartment was not clean when we arrived, the floors were very dusty, turning our feet black, we gave it a sweep and had piles of dust. Only got one roll of toliet paper for our 3 night stay, which had stains on it. Full kitchen set up, however it has no pots or pans so you cannot use it. You could feel the springs in the bed. Balcony was not usable due to rubbish and broken bits of tiles left there. The shower floor was filled with small rocks and plastering from the walls, had to wash that down the drain. The bedroom had flimsy see-through curtains, so you would wake up from the sun rising everyday." ~Luke
