"Pros: Everything was perfect here! Fabulous views overlooking the town towards the mountains, all staff went above and beyond all the time, room was enormous, everything spotlessly clean, and a great pool which we used most days. We read beforehand that Gjirokaster is very steep, and the Rose Garden is pretty much at the top. It is definitely steep and you're doing it several times a day if going out and about. But stick with it!! It gets easier. The charm of this quiet and beautiful hotel makes it worthwhile. Plus there's a cheeky cut through to the castle!!" ~Theresa

"Pros: Everything. You will find the friendliest host who gives great tips. And he is also a free taxi driver. He will leave you at the tunnel that brings you to the castle of Gjirokastër and pick you up until 23 o’ clock. We had a great experience and whenever we choose to come to Gjirokastër, this will be where the place to come as well. 🫶🏼 Cons: / it was great, nothing to not like." ~Eli
