"Pros: This was by far our best stay in our Albania tour! THE BEST! The hotel is a gem, right in the heart of Gjirokastër! The room was not too big, but beautifully designed, and sooooo comfortable! And the outside garden/terrace is just out of this world! You feel like you’re in an old bazaar café! And when you think that things cannot get any more amazing, you up to stairs to the Obelisk and see the city and the castle (especially beautiful at night)!
Even though the hotel has no parking space, the owner will help you find one! You might as well just let him drive (like we did) since the city is not an easy one for driving (really narrow streets, really steep too).
You need to climb some stairs to get to it (totally worth it) and could get a bit noisy due to the location (above a bar, right in the heart of old town), but after all the walking during the day going up and down the hilly streets, you’ll sleep like a log :))
We just loved it there, absolutely amazing! We highly recommend it!!
