Location

We have the pleasure to invite you to the "Wentzl" hotel, situated in the one of the most beautiful exhibited tenement house of the Cracow Market Square - the 15th century Cellarich's family tenement, called "Under the Painting". In 1792 John Wentzl founded in this building the Wentzl Restaurant, which is receiving wide recognition till today.

Accomodation

We offer you 12 comfortable and period furnished apartments (one or two beds), from which you can admire the beauty of the Market Square feel its unique climate.
There is bathroom (shower and bath), air-condition, TV, telephone, free internet, Mini Bar in each room. You will find also the other conveniences, which make time more pleasant such as air conditioning, bathrobe, hair dryer, mini-bar, safety box, slippers, LCD TV, Internet access(WiFi) and laundry service.

Dining

The Wentzl Restaurant, 19th Market Square, is located in the house of Cellarichs' family, also called "The Tenement Under the Painting", built in 1635. Restaurant's traditions of this place dates back to 1792 when John Wentzl moved his gastronomy from close Krzysztofory to this tenement. Today it is very fashion restaurant. In the opinion of many people it is the best restaurant in Cracow. Many outstanding Guests: politicians and artists were received here. Its additional attraction is the great view to Sukiennice, Mariacki Church and the whole Market Square.
Superb dishes and high standard service will satisfy the most demanding guests.
Aside from delicious food which our individual customers would like to eat for dinner or solemn supper, we also organize banquets and occasional parties. Mr Grzegorz Zdeb - our Chef recommend you famous foie gras, chanterelle stewed in cream with some fried poultry, delicious soups: made from smoked mushrooms or from artichoke, from crayfish and trout with noodles.
We also have wide selection of main courses, first of all you have to try duck fillet pickled in Żubrówka, delicious lamb cutlets, old Polish beef roulades, Turkish fillet with smoked cheese and many more also fish and vegetarian dishes. Furthermore we recommend you our delicious deserts with traditional French vanilla cream (creme brulée).
Wide selection of wines from France, Austria, Spain, Chile and South Africa. You can start or finish meal with glass of French champagne as you wish!
